　　The diamond-shaped zinc strip anode conforms to ASTM-B418(Type 1/ Type 2) and has excellent mechanical properties. The ribbon zinc anode is mainly used for the protection of pipe in casing, temporary cathodic protection of pipe, protection of storage tank and pipe network, and to prevent the ac interference and lightning interference of buried pipe by strong current line. Banded zinc anodes are commonly used in medium with resistivity below 2000 ω ·cm, but can be used in medium above 2000 ω ·cm if the steel structure being protected is well coated or in wet soil.
